Yay for being "on" reading poetry! I have a friend in the Netherlands who loves poetry and we pick a poetry reading theme ever year and then write letters to each other about the collection and pick a poem or two to share. Our theme this year is "place." We've been at it for years and it's great. It keeps me on the lookout for new to me poets. I just started reading Postcolonial Love poem two days ago, but not in relation to my poetry exchange with my friend, I just love reading poetry :)

On your nonfiction books about poetry, My Poets is quite enjoyable and is kind of memoir-ish, sort of along the lines of the subgenre of analyzing a novel through a personal lens. For some reason I can only thing of at the moment is Elif Batuman's The Possessed. So like that, but not ;) A book not on your list you might like is The Life of Poetry by Muriel Rukeyser, herself a very good poet if you haven't read her :)
